Hi. I’m Harathi.

I was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, and nearly five years ago, my husband and I made the move to the Barrington area. We were drawn to the district with what they offer to learners of all abilities, and we were eager to give our children the best tools for success.

Our three kids are already benefiting from the incredible educators, curriculum, and services here. Our eldest daughter is thriving in the ESC at Hough, our middle son is a third-grader at Countryside, and our youngest is currently in the preschool program at Noah’s Ark.

With a background in nursing, I've honed strong decision-making, listening, and communication skills, always approaching challenges with empathy and compassion. As a lifelong learner, I hold degrees in Biology, Nursing, and a Master’s in Leadership and Business—training that has empowered me to advocate effectively for our community.

In my free time, I love spending time with my family, traveling, reading, volunteering, and cheering on our Chicago sports teams.

I recognize the important challenges our community and school district face, and I believe I am the right person to serve at this moment. As a passionate, motivated stay-at-home mom, I have the energy, time, and drive to advocate for all community members.

I am committed to listening, taking action, and being accountable. I genuinely care about this community and am invested in its success.
